Walk in the Sunshine

Even If it Rains

The day breaks open with sunshine, begging to be let in. The young man runs to the window, eager to be the first to let the warm rays flood over his face. He was a bit down when he went to sleep in the evening. Something his Grandfather had told him came to his mind when he went to sleep. “Always remember,” he had told him,

“The sun will always come up in the morning. There will ever be a new day when the old is washed away. Live in the moment of your new day. Yesterday can be wiped away and tomorrow you will make today. Keep your mind on the sun of this day and it will never become old.”

Breakfast is taken and the boy heads out to play. The seashore is one of his favourite places to spend time. There is a bit of magic in the touch of the waves lapping at his feet. Each one has been part of a gigantic ocean wave in its past and now relishes in the peace and comfort of the seashore. Words of his grandpa come to him again.
