More Than Just Pennies and Power
Ever found yourself chasing the elusive goals of wealth and power, only to realize they aren’t quite enough? I’ve been there, too. Marian Wright Edelman, a profound voice and author of “The Measure of Our Success,” shared some sage advice back in 1992. Her quote hit me deep. It was a wake-up call to reevaluate my priorities and look beyond the dollar signs and corner offices. Here is the quote;
“Never work just for money or for power. They won’t save your soul or help you sleep at night.”
