“Thoughts held in mind produce after their kind” — Charles Fillmore

Many sayings like this have crystalized the ideas and thoughts that have been taught to young and old alike. Any thought that is thought about and focused on has a strange power of direction to our future. It is never too early or too late to begin to move towards the life and the thinking you yearn to experience.

This realization is especially relevant today as many of us look at the path our people seem to be going on and figuratively throw up our hands. We become confused and wonder if it is wise to look at the day only or to see the big picture.

Ancient wisdom and new age philosophers have all taught us that just as a seed planted in good ground produces healthy plants, so too your mind will produce the thoughts that are thought about. In the plant world what is planted will grow accordingly. Apple seeds produce apples and weed seeds will produce weeds. We cannot seed corn and expect potatoes to grow. We cannot think depressing, negative thoughts, and expect a wonderful happy life to result.

Understand this simple concept, this cause and effect relationship and you can literally think into being the kind of life you wish to have.

For whatever reason, our minds have been preconditioned through the constant barrage of media extolling the virtues of “social distancing”, the justification of “masking”, and how important to stay within a small circle of family and friends to protect the others. We then tend to think about these circumstances, worry about what will happen, repeatedly talk…
