How to Overcome a People and a Country
I read an article on Medium today bent specifically towards reprimanding
people of one line of thought and branding half of society because of it. Just the same as the old tale we have heard since childhood — One bad apple spoils the whole lot.
It need not be so. Yet it seems that the so-called onlookers revel in their ability to point with crooked fingers at the rotten apple and loudly proclaim the whole barrel is in the same category.
Let us think about this for a sane second.
Assume there is an alien presence observing us from points unknown. Watching people who have an audience, throw stones from their calculated viewpoint. Then inciting emotion not commonly seen in ordinary circles. Arguments begin, sides are taken, people are divided, wars begin, all from a strategically placed commentary, diatribe, or politically directed media storm. This alien presence would immediately brand all of humankind with the same brush and turn away with the comment — “Humans as seen, have not risen to the point where they can move to the next step.” We will be left till we have grown in awareness.
