Sometimes people grow up believing in so many limitations they begin to make those limitation real. We need to remember both you and I are in this body for this lifetime. We are not duplicates of each other.

Sometimes our body could have a shy personality and sometimes we might have been brought up in a dysfunctional home. Maybe we have a speech problem or maybe this body has a bunch of phobias and fears.

On the other side, this body may play host to a spectacular mind capable of creating miracles. We often get so caught up in the challenge of the moment we often find it easy to fall back on one of the most popular words in the English language — Impossible.

Not that long ago (1954) people believed that it was impossible for humans to run a mile in under four minutes. Runners had been trying to break the four-minute barrier since the late 1800s. It was believed to be out of reach and that the human body just couldn’t go that fast.

Then in 1954 Roger Bannister ran the mile in 3 minutes 59.4 seconds. A month and a half later, John Landy ran even faster. A year later three more runners broke the 4-minute barrier. Today high school runners break the barrier routinely, and Hicham El Guerrouj of Morocco…
