A Beginners Guide to Focus
Can you deal with the thought in front of you?
How you deal with each moment is how you deal with your entire life. Some have a continuous series of crises, some have a fluid comfortable ride, some have a sporadic stuttering existence, some have completely passionate lives, some care nothing, some care everything.
Where are you?
One morning you open your eyes and realize you have been tiptoeing through life as in a minefield. Can you do something to change that?
When was the last time you were able to freely run through the meadows of your mind with nary a thought to the next moment or even the last? With no concern over the next landmine you touch.
Do you remember when you were able to look back over the day and say I truly enjoyed every moment of the time today? One where you played as if you were a child? With no mind to the calls of mealtime and chore time and learning time.
Has the time you spent today been cut down by the concerns of the morrow — the possibility of a restless night contemplating how to meet the challenges that you are sure will be there.
“Give no thought to the morrow for the morrow will take care of itself”
