Have you ever found yourself waiting for that perfect moment of motivation to start something new? Maybe it’s joining that morning yoga class, finally organizing your workspace, or tackling that creative project you’ve been putting off. But, as you might have noticed, waiting for motivation can be like waiting for a train that never arrives. Here’s a little secret: often, our mood shifts after we take action, not before.

The Power of Starting: Overcoming Inertia

The key to breaking free from this cycle is simple yet powerful — just start. The act of starting can be incredibly daunting, but it’s also incredibly powerful.

Tools for Taking the First Step

To help you leap over the initial hurdle there are two fantastic methods. I use both of them after trying many over the years.
